Has anyone used Unicor signs? Unicor is apparently a prison work force operation.

I'm not sure if they were made by the same outfit, but they were manufactured in a prison somewhere. Some years back a former employer purchased bearing tree tags, only a few thousand which turned out to be made from the same metal stock as license plates and weighed a freakin' ton. You wouldn't want more than a few in the back of your vest and driving a nail through one required a carbide tipped punch and a sledge hammer. Guy could get a hernia lifting a box full. Scribing one with a nail? Forget about it.

12 years on Cadastral for USFS these were the signs we used all the time, they are good quality. However you can only buy from them if you are FEDERAL Govt. agency
