I need help identifying these. They really don't look like any SSMH's or SDMH's that I'm familiar with.

Is it near a restaurant? Might be grease interceptors.

That's a topo nightmare.
Usually, sewer/drainage manhole haveholes in the covers, in order to allow venting of any gases that might build up.
The closest manhole has an insignia that seems to resemble a "Bell Telephone" logo, but who knows. The others are taken from an angle that doesn't lend itself to seeing the insignia.
Maybe some head on shots might help, but my best guess would be some non-gravity flow utility.
I think I found them. Looks like very similar ones (wavy with the tabs) used in parts of Latvia.
The car in the background has a European looking license plate so I think it is not domestic in origin.
Looks Like Pincushion Manholes
First off never saw either type in the US.
The indication is several underground structures.
The most I have seen on an underground telephone box is 3, but hn ave seen multiple boxes on occassion.
Next thought is I have seen some old gas stations with fill, access and monitoring points under conventional manholes.
I would have no problem locating that many manholes, but opening them up to determine anything more than "MH" is an extra.
No extra charge to record if the lid says MUA, SMH or a utility name. Extra again to determine if "S" means Storm or Sanitary MH.

I'd bet this photo was taken in a city where the cost of asphalt patches exceeded the apparent cheap supply of iron lids. 😀
SWAG - multiple chamber storm water treatment vaults.
Deral look out for the PC Police. You can't say manhole any more. It is Being Orifice.
European it seems. Solid and these just look like they are hollow. More decorative on top than most of ours in the USA, at least in Oklahoma.

I'm still not sure why there is so many. Some pavement cuts are obvious and there are likely some boxes underneath.

Photo Shop?

Word of the day - "frippery"
Did they make these after this years football season Dan? 😉 And before you think that is cruel, then remember I live in Kentucky. Guess you know how good a football team UK is this year, and for several years.
Deral,
The Razorback lids are very old...made at the famous Vulcan Foundry.
As far as football goes, I hear the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers have a new football coach. He even rides a Harley.;-)
