Is it true that an existing TSC2 cannot be upgraded to Trimble Access anymore? I have 2 TSC2s that we are wanting to bring back into service.

Was this an early adoption sort of thing when we all first upgraded?

Latest release notes

The release notes from Access release March 2013 mention TSC2 (and some models of CU) as compatibile.
The latest release notes do not mention the TSC2 so not sure if compatibility has been dropped in the last year? Should be able to use an older version at least.

Latest release notes

Our TSC2s have the latest version of Access on them.

Maybe the OP is talking about Trimble not upgrading Survey Controller to Access on TSC2s anymore.

Our TSC2s already had older versions of Access on them, we updated them to the latest version.

We just acquired two new TCUs with the latest Access on them.

About two months or so ago Trimble put out a notification that they were no longer going to offer the upgrade from Survey Controller to Access for $500; shame on your dealer if this didn't get passed on to you. I'm pretty sure you can still get them upgraded but now it's like $2200 or something, whatever the full price of Access is.

In fairness to Trimble, the $500 upgrade was available for about 5 years.

We have 2 controllers that have the latest version of Access on them. We had no need to upgrade the others for obvious economic reasons during the downturn. Now that we have need for them, we would have liked to upgrade.

We of course can still use Survey Controller, but we were never given any notification from our dealer.

We have/had major issues with our local dealer for about a year and we are trying to work through them with a regional manager, but it's still a teeth pulling pain.

Does anyone still have that notification anywhere that they would be willing to forward to me?
