I have recently sold a Topcon GPT 3005 to a friend of mine, he currently uses a Trimble TSC2 with his Trimble R6. He is unable to Bluetooth to the Topcon GPT and wishes to do so, I was running the Topcon GPT with a Nomad via Bluetooth with no problem. I have very limited experience with Trimble products and would appreciate any suggestions I could pass along to him.

Not sure Topcon and Trimble will speak. Kinda like apple and android
Trimble software (Survey Controller, Access) will not Bluetooth to a Topcon instrument. Trimble Access will BT to a Nikon Nivo, Trimble M3, or Spectra Focus, but that's about it.
Survey Pro on a TSC2 should be able to, but that's probably not what he's running on it.

He is interested in buying my Nomad800 (SurveyPro 4.11.1) to run with his Trimble R6 GPS. Does SurveyPro work With Trimble GPS? I don't have the GPS module on it for him to try out and am a Topcon guy myself. Thanks for any help.
Yes, Survey Pro will work with Trimble GPS and robots. The only caveat is that the version of Survey Pro has to be new enough to support the sensors in question.
