Trimble Access 2021 and Disto 510 as a rangefinder

Don't think I have done it with that exact model, but I have in the past, so some Leica models are supported.

How/where is TA would you use an electronic handheld distance meter?

Distance offsets, usually with GNSS. I would use Cogo Point with Bearing & Distance method, then take shots with the rangefinder at my line & distance points. Store as Az-HD-VD so it's connected to the vector and not just a grid point.

I rarely hooked up the rangefinder to bluetooth, I would usually just hand enter unless I was doing a lot of offset points.

@rover83 be warned, the last time I used that bearing calculation in the field with GNSS and TA, those points didnƒ??t move in TBC (if moving data to control position) because they are considered a calculation.

Iƒ??m able to use the Disto D810 on my Dell Tablet and Access with Windows . ?ÿThe Lieca app will need to be installed and running in order for the measurements to be transferred to Access. There are some settings that will need to be configured in the Lieca app and the Disto to transfer in decimal feet. ?ÿThe Lieca app not always stable and needs to be reinstalled from time to time. ?ÿWhen it works itƒ??s great.

Store as AZ HD VD rather than grid and they will move with the parent vector during postprocessing.
