Greetings all, I recently bought a 5605 DR200+ at an auction with a CU. Of cause it’s old, but it is what I used in the ‘90s and 2000s. It came to me with no batteries or cables so I have been getting then as needed. I got it up and running for the most part. First thing the screen said is the internal battery is low. I did my research and found / ordered batteries. The articles said replace one at a time so you don’t lose the firmware, and I did, the CU went off without a hitch. So I went on to the 5605 did the same, got it all back together, powered them up and I see “Local mode”. Checked out the CU, all the programs are there. So it looks like the firmware is missing, the servos are working OK. Does anyone have a copy of the firmware for a 5605 DR200+ that I can try to load back into it. Thank you all.

Sounds like you lost the internal factory collimation data. Send me a pm and I can hook you up with a guy that may be able to help

I can still write a D Bar traverse for that CU LOL. Oh set that thing up once you get up and running to store the data in whatever order you desire to do your comps with later.
