So the company I work for has remained faithful to the old Trimble 4800 receivers.?ÿ ?ÿI have been using the fix week program since 2016 and everything has been working with no issues.?ÿ It appears that the fix week program is not properly correcting the date stamp.?ÿ Is anyone else out there still operating these legacy receivers??ÿ If so any indication of someone is making a program to allow us to keep this old equipment operational?

I wrote fixweek, and as I explained in a previous post a week or two ago I found the problem. I checked the first week after the rollover and it was working, but then it stopped after the second week, which I now know why. I haven't had time to fix it, I just got home yesterday from a trip to Vietnam, and am a bit jet lagged, not to mention that my grass is now about a foot high (8 acres to cut). I know how to fix it, just need to sit down and do it, hopefully in the next day or two.?ÿ

Be patient, it is free after all!?ÿ

I understand people need this to be able to process their data, but there is a workaround by converting it to rinex using teqc and forcing the week number to be correct...

Thanks John I was hoping you would see this post!  I did not notice your previous forum post from a couple of weeks ago.

When I was stressing out about this I did convert to rinex and looked at the data.  It appeared that the date could be fixed relatively easy.  The issue I saw was going to be the epoch increment time editing.  If you are to fix with a program that would be awesome.

If you can fix when you have time that would be great .  Plus save me some more gray hair.

At least you have grass.  We are still quite brown, but at least the snow is about gone.

Thanks again.

A bit over a week ago I tried Trimble's fixdatweek.exe on a DAT file from a Trimble 4700 receiver.?ÿ The user reported that FixWeek did not work, but I tried Trimble's fixdatweek and was able to get an OPUS solution.?ÿ Trimble states this program will also work on a file from a Trimble 4800.

You can download Trimble's fixdatweek installer from https://www.trimble.com/support_trl.aspx?Nav=Collection-3579&pt=4700 , then click on the hyperlink "Downloads".?ÿ If that link does not work, simply search for "fixdatweek installer" and you will get there.?ÿ There is a Support Note there as well.

After installation go to the folder where it is installed (probably C:Program Files (x86)Trimblefixdatweek) and there is an RTF file (will open with Microsoft?ÿ
Word) that describes how to use fixdatweek.exe.?ÿ Probably will be easiest to copy the EXE file to a directory on your computer where you have write privileges, then copy the DAT file there and run the program per the instructions.

Is this a new exe file??ÿ The one from 2016 that I have been operating did change the date but still was not correct??ÿ?ÿ

When I have been searching this over the past several days, I did not notice a recent Trimble support note.?ÿ Thanks for the information.?ÿ I will try to install current program as listed in your reply.

After Glenn's post I downloaded the Fixdatweek program and it works.  I little more laborious as I have to locate it through the command line, not as slick as Hamilton's program but better than line editing.

Knowing that it does work sounds like a good second option.?ÿ I will probably hold tight and give member John Hamilton time to edit is program.?ÿ This has been working well for us in the past.

Thanks to everyone who has taken time to reply.

I cannot seem to access this site.  Do I require some special settings or changes?

Thank you
