I pulled apart a spare topcon tribrac for cleaning yesterday, and found that a screw assembly has been missing a bearing. As a result, the cup to hold the bearing has been dented. I've looked around some and haven't been able to find a replacement screw assembly other than finding a parts tribrac off e-bay. Anyone have a lead I might be able to chase down for a replacement assembly?

Brett - Not too long ago there were several of those just down the street from the house where you grew up (and where your parents still live). I sent all my leftover Topcon parts to a Topcon dealer in another state a couple of years ago. I can check with them tomorrow and see if they have any leveling screws left.

And congrats on becoming Wyoming Surveyor Intern 170 a couple of months ago!

BTW, it's "tribrach".:-)

Once had a PC write in the field book about a "Tribe Rack" needing adjustment.

I recall some field notes in which the recorder referred to the invert of a corrugated metal pipe as "flowline cohort."

I have a stash of Topcon parts at my house, but I won't be there till Saturday/Sunday. I will see what I have.

If you are still in need by later today, please let me know.

So close, yet so far away!

And I appreciate it Glenn, I'm also scheduled to take the sate specific here in January. Hopefully it goes as well as the national exam did.
