Have any of you used the new field survey software from Topcon, called Magnet?

What do you think of it?

Does it have good cogo?

I am using the system. Think the COGO is acceptable. See my comments in the above thread for comments on support and manuals and Topcon support.

I am running magnet on the tesla collector. There are a few little things I would change, but nothing major. The cogo works great fir construction layout. I can not speak for land surveying applications.

I've been using Magnet with the Tesla unit and I like it very much. Very easy to use, much the same as today's data collectors. I haven't used the cogo as much as I've only had it for a few weeks and have mostly been collecting data.
