Does anyone have an idea where we can find a cable for this instrument?
Chris has one but we cannot connect a data collector to it. I have only seen it once, but I believe it only has one connector on the instrument.

Try western states cable. They might be able to make one if it's not listed on their website.

Hi guys, thanks for the help. This is a pretty old total station we're talking about. It runs power and data through the same port. When Topcon went to the next version of this total station, the GTS-3B, they changed the data port to the one we're all familiar with now. I know Topcon made a data collector to be used with this instrument, but I don't have it. I would love to be able to connect it to a Ranger, Nomad, or HP 48, but I'm not sure it's possible. Is anyone out there familiar enough with these to know if it can be done?
This is an extremely clean instrument for its age, and I would like to be able to use it in an emergency, or in a situation where I didn't want to use the robot.

They have made a couple of custom cables for me.
I must have the wrong number in my phone because my text message keeps getting kicked back. I'll double check the TAPS roster.
I must have sent the cables that would work on that instrument to Mr. Berry when I sent him the environmental cases for the HP-48GX a few months back. Sorry.

Thanks for checking. We'll probably check with Western Cables as mentioned above. It's Chris' instrument. He has been having a few radio problems, and thought if we could get a cable, it might give him a backup option in a pinch.
