I recently bought a used Topcon gpt 8203a totalstation.
But i have a problem. The longmode edm only works for 15 seconds and then stops.
Then i have to wait for 20 minutes to use longmode again . The prism and normal mode work perfectly . Also after measuring in normal mode the longmode stops working an i have to wait 20 minutes...
Anyone an idea ?

In the manual it says : " when measuring in a short time a long and a short distance the measuring can be suspended for a time " .
Anybody knows the technical reason behind this ?
