I don't really think that this is a pin cushion; I think the guy that did the plat probably made the adjustment. I've followed the guys work; he set this monument in 1988 and I wouldn't put it past him, to do something like this.

There was a survey done last year, the description for the monument said "found plat mon" Kent would've been proud haha

Met with a client today who admitted to messing with monuments. The survey was made 33 years ago when he bought the house and a few acres. He pulled all of the bars, except two that were set in the middle of the road, and set large fence posts in their places. Now I need to remonument most of those corners. It should be interesting to see how closely the center of the posts match up with where the plat says they should be. Maybe I should take along a step ladder and a wood bit to drill a hole in the top of the posts so I can set my bars.
