Dave,

I believe mine has that same sticker.

I agree with JB below. My first FatMax has a 9v batery, and it has the hundreths, and the newer one I bought for the second work truck takes AAA bateries. It does not have the hundreths.

I just convert if I need to measure hundreths with the second unit. It still beats pulling a tape by myself.

I have a roll of reflector tape that I use for exterior corners, just a 1/2" piece and you can hit it.

Leica makes a stick-on target plate (Laser Distance Meter)

My SIL works at a place that makes pay parking lot gates. He throws away the remnants of the 4" roll of reflective tape, is this the material you are talking about?

Send me your address and I'll send you a sample. I've used them a few times. Works well for a solo surveyor.

I like my Leica too. I bought a camera tripod for it. No need to keep putting it back in your pocket and helps hold it steady. Just make sure it's back in the van before you leave the job;-) (been there, done that, good thing it was still there when I drove all the way back:clap: )

Cheers,
Dugger

Edit-oops, didn't see the reusable glue part, the sticky stuff on this tape is there to stay. I stick it to the top of a lath and drive it in the ground or lean it up against the building.
