I've been watching some tv programs from overseas on YouTube as of late and there are two that feature surveyors (or at least surveying equipment) sometimes.
One is called Taskmaster.?ÿ A level rod shows up in various episodes.?ÿ Here is one use it was put to:

I read the archeological stories when I can.?ÿ There's almost always a Leica total station involved in there somewhere.
Which makes me wonder if Leica's slightly hard to grasp software workflow makes complete sense to archeologists.?ÿ ?????ÿ
