me too! you ain't lived until you have been blessed with a chigger infestation on your talleywhacker, and other close areas associated therewith, ie:scrotum.:-P (we call them red bugs in Florida) In addition to the insanity of itching you have to put up with SWMBO yelling at you to "quit playing with yourself";-)

The kid helping me the other day counted 107 by the time I dropped him off at home.
I can remember days when the seed ticks were moving up my leg like a brown cloud, must have been hundreds, if not thousands, of the little beasts.
Keeping you shirt tucked in, and you pants legs in your boots, will greatly diminish the number of ticks that actually make it to your skin.
Putting DEET spray between the ankles & knees seems to help a lot.
