Actually

The title of "Surveyor Coordinator" is a misnomer. In fact, First American, et al are using the legalese to provide surveying products without a license.

They are contolling the entire mortgage and title survey industry by price fixing and allowing only their vendors to provide surveys through their "exclusive" coordination. In additon, one only gets on that surveyor's vendors list, or rather is picked from that vendor's list if they agree to lowball their workproduct and sign over copyright to the "Surveyor Coordinator".
