Thank You Lord for the aches and pains, the briar scratches, chigger bites, my allergies and even for the hole in my arm from that barbed wire (I'm sorry for the language though). Thank you because all that means we have WORK. An honest days work may make me sore, or cuss... but it sure is rewarding. This has been the best week we've had in months, probably all year. Please Lord, let it stay this way.

Amen, My July and August had more field work than I have had in 5 years. There are even NEW homes going up here.

Six weeks ago I was worried because a big job (300K) was wrapping up and I didn't have much for my team afterwards; now I have more than six times that in backlog and my guys already have guaranteed work through March 1. I'm hiring and lining up subcontractors 🙂

James, you're in Washington, DC? I have a brother near there. If we get in another rut, I might look you up. At least i'd have a place to stay... 😉
