I am a couple of versions behind on upgrades for TBC. Does anyone know if I can upgrade directly from this version (2.4) to the newest version (2.7)? Or do I need to install each individual upgrade? (ex. 2.4 to 2.5, then 2.5 to 2.6, then 2.6 to 2.7)
You should be able to go straight to the current version. You may need to send some money to update the software key to have all features of the current version available.
Yup, you will need some money. Last upgrade took away some much used features that required extra money. But we should have known better.
You may need to free up some space in your hard drive as well.
We are under warranty. I upgraded to the newest version free of charge.
What features were removed?
You will probably also have to transfer your security code key license unless you already have a hasp key.
I just did the upgrade, it will get to a point and tell you exactly what procedure to follow depending on what version you have.
If you do the upgrade and your software maintenance is up, you will lose some of the previously licensed features you had, until you pay to unlock them again.
I need a newer faster PC, it runs really slow on a 2008 era pc.
