Created a job in the data collector in SPC and created GPS base point at a "here" Northing/Easting(and collected static data at base for OPUS). Continued day collecting RTK and conventional data on same job.
I now have the OPUS Northing/Easting position for my base point. How do I change "here" Northing/Easting to OPUS Northing/Easting in TBC and have it flow out corrected Northing/Easting positions to all my data?
TBC has this strange habit of using the last imported control, which if you're like most of us, you get your control settled first and then import your job data with the "here" position. You have two options, first you could import your data with the "here" position first and then bring in the OPUS control or you can merge the points (TBC will let you merge points with different names) holding the OPUS control.

Doug, much obliged.

The merge doesn't work for me, maybe to average a couple of shots really close together but not for a HERE and an OPUS. I struggled with this issue in TBC. I finally figured out that you can delete extra points in the Project Explorer. So load your OPUS point in with the base name. Then open the project explore and delete all the base points with that name that have different coordinates (ones you don't want corrupting your file). Then you need to recompute which is indicated by a red dot in the bottom bar.
Anyway hopes this helps. TBC is different from TGO. I thinks it's probably better but the learning must be dealt with.
Site calibration under survey. Select all of your base and other RTK points. Create a point (call it 1000 or 10000 or whatever but don't add it into the selection). Then follow the site calibration and voila, you now have updated coordinates on your other points. You could do it in CAD as a translation, so long as you're not very far off from OPUS with the seed coordinates.
Do you have all the latest updates? TBC seems to get updated on a weekly basis. Merge has worked for me using just this scenario.
Sure you can do a calibration to it...
but you could also just select the base point in project explorer or select it from the screen...right click...properties and the properties pane opens.
From the properties pane you see the little "gammon reel" symbol? That is the Add new coordinate symbol.
Add the coordinate you got from OPUS and hit the "Compute" red ball...it will update the coordinates of all of your shots.
yeah...it used to be "Re Compute" in TGO...but now it is just "compute"
Doug's method worked for me, no problems. I'll have to try the "add coordinate" for comparison.
Thanks a bunch guys.
