Lath are so 20th century, I almost never see them in the field anymore (on oil and gas jobs). And who in the heck marks up control points.......hide them or lose them!!!

Not real definitive.?ÿ My favorite comment from the article:

"I never knew that all the stakes and flags you see by the road were put up by surveyors to communicate some sort of meaning."
