A question for the ages....

I assume bread falls buttered side down because of the additional weight of the butter.

Laundry, household chores and COD Blops.

Nice winter day but I'll get plenty of outside time this week. Today I'll just throw another (figurative) log on the fire.

Buncha thread hi-jackers, I swear.
😉

I wish!!! 😛 No, but he did pack his flip flops and red trunks. He "may" get in the water. He really isn't a water person but Hawaii he does like to wade around and look at the fishies. 🙂

Angel - I think you said you're going to be on Oahu? For a non-water person like myself and apparently Wendell, Haunauma Bay is fantastic. You can rent a snorkel and just walk around with your head in the water and see tons of beautiful fish and stuff. It's not that far from Honolulu/Waikiki. Plus, what a great time to go to Hawaii when it's all yucky over here. We've spent Christmas there a couple of times and not only do you get out of all the traditional obligations but you can almost forget how gloomy it is back home. And, in addition, it's so easy to get into the hang-loose attitude that you come back and everybody here seems to have some kind of chip on their shoulder.

Yes, but I will be more careful this time about my exposure to the sun. Here's a picture of me last time we went to Hawaii:

What's up with how many times I've logged in total and my avg. logins per day being readable by everyone in my profile? There are certain people I might not want to know this information...

Casual day today- cold and stormy this morning so we all laid pretty low.

Went the range at about 4- the sun broke out and it was beautiful, but still only 11^f but no wind, so I put some rounds thru the fire-breathing pig and the big, red, rock eater. I'm all better now- and ready for monday....:-)

I realize I'm wimpy but it rained pretty good overnight and this morning and only got up to about 50 degrees so I thought about doing some yard work but it wasn't urgent enough to brave the elements. It's starting to look like early Spring here in the Calif. foothills, though. The quince is starting to bloom, lilacs are budding, daffodils are about ready to pop out. I guess I should prune the grape vines while they're still semi-dormant. That's a PITA because once you prune them, you've got to get rid of all the cuttings somewhere.

That's the only place I can get him IN the water up to his head!! 🙂

We went to Hawaii in November 2007 for our 14th Wedding Anniversary. I had never been before so I was jazzed!! We decided to go check out Hanauma Bay on a fluke. Oh man...I am SO glad we did!! One of the most beautiful places I have EVER seen in my life. 😀 I cannot wait to get back there later this week.

When I have the avatar of me up with a hat on my head and the ocean behind me, that is in Hanauma Bay. Wendell snatched that when I wasn't looking but it came out pretty good, and I usually hate my own photos. 😐

Here's a few pics from last trip.

Pic where my human avatar came from...

Beautiful...

Here ya go...some from Wednesdays trip to Hanauma Bay. :bye: :sun:

Wendell and Angel in Hanauma Bay. Water was about 80 or so...

I found some black sand on the far right of the shoreline.

View from right of bay looking left.

Palm trees swaying in the breeze.

My travel buddy, Rat.

That's my kind of swimming too. It is worth it to rent a snorkel and just dip your head in the water though. You see a lot more pretty fish that way. Might want to lose the hat if you do that. Thanks for the pics. Jealousy setting in.
