Hi all - I'm hoping someone out there has purchased or had a trailer built similar to what I'm looking for and could point me in the right direction. I've searched all over and just not finding anything like what I'm looking for.
Rather than outfitting my truck bed (which I need regularly) with various types of box inserts, pull out rigs, camper topper, etc. etc. etc. I'm looking to do an off-road low profile cargo trailer, something like 4x8. I don't want anything very big or heavy which is why I'm not just buying a standard cargo trailer.
I'd prefer something with a rear swinging door rather than the traditional pull-down and rest on the ground type and an additional door in the rear of the trailer on one side or the other. I love the rugged off-road look of the mini off-rad campers but can't find anything close to that in a cargo trailer version. I would outfit it once I got it with a box insert with dividers and such to separate legs, rods, bipods etc.
The few options I've found online have smaller boxes than I'm needing such as the smittybuilt. It isn't long enough to accommodate legs/rods/etc in the front and leave space behind it all for hubs, stakes & the like.
Any help would be much appreciated!
