Just saw the link and checked it out. Interesting Wendell.
Yes, that's a good partnership to have. But just a heads up to those interested. Be sure to check the "approval" column. They are listed as an approved provider nationally, but each state can have their own approval process for the provider; and then each individual course needs approval also (at least for CEU credit). The courses may be great, but if you want CEU credit not all are approved. I noticed none of the offered courses for NY or MN have approval for CEU's, although quite a few are offered for those states. In other states some are approved and some are not.
The one thing I didn't like is that when I click on a course to check it out, no information is given on who created it or what the information source of the material is. In fact, even the info about what the course covers is fairly vague.
And not only do you have to check whether it is approved in your state, check for the maximum on-line hours acceptable. Iowa requires some (2/3?) of the hours to be by in person attendance. The board has been giving fines and reprimand to people who try to renew with more of their hours on line than allowed.

No drop down for California? It is not mandatory, but our CLSA allows you to document continuing education through their website.
The courses are whatever McKissock provides, so if they don't have California courses, they won't be listed (unfortunately). We are looking for other avenues for education, so hopefully we'll have all the bases covered at some point.
