It's been a long while since I posted some pictures about our field work.
I'm been doing a lot more office work lately. We are having tough times in Europe to keep everyone at work. A lot of Public works are postponed or even halted.
A few weeks ago I was at a construction site in Waregem with Tijl to check the stakes of the constructor.
Tijl needed some refence points for later levelling.
Later on I had to take some extra level shots along the railway line.
Today I visited two sites.
In Anzegem for a boundary job, I received a boundary map from another surveyor and I needed some extra shots on two buildings to reconstruct the boundary line.

Then off to Zwevegem to check an as-built in a new subdivision with some nice waterparts, perfect place for the hot weather we have now (30°C /86°F)

Christof.
Nice pictures.
I hope your summer has been cooler than ours. If you had to pick up some office work, you picked a good time of the year to be inside.
Hopefully things will pick up for you. Things are still hit and miss over many parts of the country here as well.
Very nice photos, thanks Christ.
Tijl is a cool name, how do you pronounce it?
Was that a shovel with a "T" handle? I don't believe I've ever seen one.
Don
Thanks a lot for posting. Those photos might have been taken over here in Indiana if I didn't know better.
I really liked the water shots.
Things have been very busy for me for 4 years now. I am sure they will pick up for you soon. Meanwhile enjoy this brief break in the action.
Thanks Christ, always enjoy post with pictures. EVERY ONE HERE SHOULD POST MORE PICTURES. Oh, sorry for yelling.
Nice pictures! Your Country is nice and tidy even on the construction sites 🙂
Thanks for posting the pics Christof.
They are always welcome. I hope you had a beer or two after a hot day. It was 94f here today and I certainly enjoyed mine.
@Don
over here we use the shovel to dig,
and a spade to ... spade (not sure if my online translator knows what I mean!) The spade has the T handle.
'Tijl' sounds as the i in 'idle', it's an old name.
@Brad
that was exactly my reaction when I saw your pictures last week I think in the corn. The Indiana pics could have been taken here in Belgium.
@Scott
I agree with you, Let's see if we can start a weekly post where everyone can write a few lines and pics about his whereabouts.
@Carl
I enjoyed a fresh and cook 'Omer'
cheers to all,
have good and safe holidays,
mine starts in a few hours 😉
Christof.
