Using SurvCE I have verified that the base receiver and the rover receiver have all the same radio settings. The base flashes that it is transmitting and the rover flashes that it is receiving, problem is in SurvCE I can never get fixed, it is always waiting for info from the base. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Jeff - we use the same system. Are you a new user of the ISX?

Jeff, I've been using this kit for 7 years and haven't had this particular issue.

Some things you could try:

Soft reset the receivers
Hard reset
Reload receiver firmware (3.701 is the current Sokkia approved version)
Reload SurvCE? 2.62 is the latest version.
Worth a check in SurvCE in case a load of satellites have been turned off or the cut off altitude is too high.

I had problems with the RTCA message format, RTCM is better, think it's to do with Glonass.

Probably better though to contact Carlson support.

What kind of data collector are you using? I've re-booted the allegro to fix a problem like that. Held the "on" key down until it surrendered...

Sounds like a hard re-set of both pieces of hardware should be done. Do you ever "restore to factory settings"?

Jeff - do you use an external or internal radio at base? Settings could cause the problem.

I was trying to use the internal radio. My data collector is a trimble recon with the full Carlson SurvCE on board. I bought it used from a dealer and when I got it I tried to change the frequency to use a local permanent base station. I'm guessing that while doing that I messed up a setting somewhere and I have tried resetting also. Going to try deleting all the connections in data collector and reset again and start over.

As a side note. If your receivers radio has a frequency range of 461-465, is that a permanent range, our county base station is at 450, is it possible to connect to?
