Straighten out the west line and it'll be good

Last week (emphasis on last) I got a call about a survey I would be reviewing.  Suddenly the job is rush rush.  The realtor will pickup the final drawing from the survey firm, hand deliver it to me for my signature and get it recorded.  NO LATER than Tuesday.  OK  No big deal.  I'll be here.

Get a PDF of the survey on Friday.  One little issue.  By that afternoon I review the amended version and announce I will sign off on it.  The realtor cannot get away to make the circle.

Nothing happens on Monday, although it could have.  It seems the buyer of Tract 2 is displeased.  Buyer of Tract 1 is satisfied.  The two tracts represent the entirety of the parent tract, which I had surveyed for the owner back in 2018.  Buyer of Tract 2 is satisfied with the layout of Tract 1 but the west line of his Tract 2 has a bend in it and he wants it to be a single straight line.  The PLS finally meets with the buyer on site to figure out what is wrong because the buyer isn't making sense.  The buyer does not understand that the bend in the west line has to stay exactly that way because that is where the property line is.  To do what he wanted would require the seller to buy a very long triangular tract from the adjoiner first, so he could resell it to the buyer of Tract 2.  There are existing fences on the property lines.

Tuesday comes and goes.  Wednesday comes and goes.  Thursday comes and goes.  Maybe Friday will be the day that absolutely had to be Tuesday or earlier.
