The attached PDF, with the subtitle of "Simulation of enemy effort to plot Minuteman silo positions" may be timely due to the recent balloon incident over Montana.
It discusses the clandestine efforts of a three-man party to use published maps along with a plane-table alidade and a Brunton compass to see how accurately the enemy could locate Minuteman missile silos that were being established at the time.
Makes for an interesting eight-page read.
