There is nothing to indicate a real estate firm is involved in any fashion.
A "real estate investment company" can be any company investing money in real estate. It is investing, not acting in an agency relationship with a buyer or seller.
We always give our client a better price if he gives us a ride to the site,:-)
.....but I just need to have the boundary marked out so that we can build our billion dollar project..... Why do I need to pay more than 15 an hour??

The "Student Land Surveyor" who shows up for this probably better not have any intentions of getting licensed. Doing this type of thing is likely to be an action that could keep a board from approving your application for licensure.
hmmm... Kind of want to bait them and respond stating that I'll do it for a twelve'er and a pack a smokes, but something tells me that they would try to take me up on it.....
