Tengo un colector Trimble recon, y quiero utilizarlo como Navegador GPS, compre una tarjeta CF "Recon Ultra" y una I Treck, con antenas ; pero no es reconocida por los programas, NoniGPSPlot, GPS Viewer ni OziExplorer 2. Ya he probado varias configuraciones, tanto del puerto virtual, (al principio utilice COM0) como del puerto fisico(COM1 hasta COM11). El colector no da la opcion de activar NMEA, el protocolo de datos GPS.
Agradezco cualquier ayuda y sugerencia.
Pronto estare compartiendo varios trabajos, ejercicios de topografia, que me gustaria compartir.

I have a Trimble Recon data collector, and I want to use it as a GPS navigator. I bought a "Recon Ultra" CF card and an I Treck GPS receiver with antennas, but it's not recognized by the programs NoniGPSPlot, GPS Viewer, or OziExplorer 2. I've already tried several configurations, both for the virtual port (I initially used COM0) and the physical port (COM1 through COM11). The data collector doesn't offer the option to activate NMEA, the GPS data protocol.

I have the Trimble Nomad data collector. My Nomad uses a program called SatViewer to enable my Nomad to use its GPS as a NMEA GNSS Rover. This link is to a Dropbox where you can download the file "SatViewer.cab". Copy the cab file to your storage card in the Recon then double click the cab file and it will install.
Download (SatViewer.CAB)After installation the desktop = photo 1
Then click the windows button = photo 2
Then Click SatViewer = photo 3
Then Click About = photo 4 and check the info to see if it installed correctly
Then click GPS = photo 5
Then click Advanced = photo 6 and check the settings
Then click Close = photo 7
Then click "Connect to GPS" = photo 8. My Nomad gets a colored spinning icon for a few seconds then nothing for awhile. You can stay on this page and wait until Lat. & Lon. & Ht. get numbers or
Click Sky = photo 9 and wait for the Satellites & Lat. & Lon. & Ht. to finish.
When finished your Recon is now a NMEA GNSS Rover. The data is Autonomus meaning the accuracy is plus or minus 6 meters or 20 feet more or less and the elevations (Ht) will be ellipsoid elevations.
If you have survey software on your Recon including a Geoid file then click Exit and open your software and connect to the NMEA option found in your list of GPS units. After that you can go anywhere and click FIX to store point numbers with coords and ground elevations. Again the data is autonomus.
If you do not have survey software then 1.) write down the Lat.Lon.Ht. as shown at the top of the screen including a Pt# and Description or 2.) Click "Data View" and see if you can make it capture what you want. It records data every second so as you move point to point there will be a huge amount of data and very hard to isolate the points that you want and the data format is DDDMM.MMM with no description. I never used "Data View".

Solo en muy pocas ocasiones ha aprecido este problema. En ALEMAN:
die datei "SatViewer" kann nicht geöffnet werden. Sie ist entweder nicht mit einem sicherheitzzertifikat at signiert, oder eine ihrerkomponenten kann nicht gefunden werden. Wenn das problem weiterhin besteh, versuchen sie, die datei neue zu installieren oder wiederherzurstellen.
Mit "Satviewer" ist keine Anwendung verbunden, Fúhren sie die anwendung zuerst aus, und öffen sie dan diese datei innerhalb der ANwendung.

No se puede abrir el archivo "SatViewer". No está firmado con un certificado de seguridad o no se encuentra alguno de sus componentes. Si el problema persiste, intente reinstalar o restaurar el archivo.
"SatViewer" no está asociado a ninguna aplicación. Ejecute primero la aplicación y luego abra este archivo dentro de ella.
pOr ahora no alcanzo avisualizar la dificultad, podia ser la diferencia entre un NOMAD y un Recon..?
