Hello,
A friend of mine recently sold me his Sokkia GSR2700IS base and rover. I am trying to run the base and rover with a Trimble Nomad and running SurvCE software. I have tried mutiple times to get both units to communicate with each other and the Nomad.

Does anyone know how to configure both untis to communicate with each other and get a fix solution?
I am running both units with Bluetooth. In the RTK setting, Device: I have tried using Internal Satel and Internal GSM. Then it wants me to select, Analog or Digital. Network: I input "None". On Message Type: Iv tried CMR, CMR+, and RTCM. I then click check mark and set Broadcast ID to #4. I input known local point 1 (I add random point for base). Configuring does it thing and DC says base has been set. I then swith to Rover. Bluetooth disconnects from Base and connects to Rover. I do the same settings to rover. Set broadcast ID to #4 so it finds the base I'm using. Click the check mark and Rover does it things. All I get is Autonomous. Iv never seen a Float or Fix solution. My monitor sky plot has a Latencity of 999.00 which I know is not good. Units are picking up more then 10 satellites.

If anyone has any advice I would sure appreciate it. I'm sure it just maybe an advance setting or mutiple settings that I do not have correct.

Thank You.

Sounds like a radio issue. In RTK, set device to "Satel" if you are using an external radio pack. Set to "Internal Satel" if there is no external radio pack. Set Network to "None". RTK Port to "COM2". Parity to "None". Baud to "9600". Stop to "1". Message Type to "RTCA". Leave Base ID blank.

The above is what I use, but the things like the COM might be different. I have to set the Base setup for 9600 baud rate. The Rover should always be "Internal Satel" regardless of the Base.

Thank you so much for your feedback on settings. I ended up purchasing a Trimble Nomad with SurvCE. Followed all your steps and "FIXED".

My other question would be, have you ran a external radio with your 2700IS? If so, what external radio do you prefer?
