Which robots lock correctly on a Seco Nodal prism. I used this prism, with great success using a Topcon 9005. Always have been surprised that more surveyors don't use the Seco Nodal.

I use seco nodal prisms only. -40mm seco eclipse series for backsights and I use a seco mini prism -17.5mm on my rod. I don't trust 360 prisms i use a trimble s6 or s9 from time to time.

Any Trimble S series or Leica robot should be able to lock onto that prism. I prefer the Trimble Multi-Track prism for stakeout and topo, but the Nodal prism is definitely more accurate.

In my opinion, there is no such thing as Seco nodal prism. It should be nodal prism assembly as the prism depends on its position relative to the holder to effect offsetting. So if you need nodal prism assembly, you need to buy the right holder. I don't know if this is entirely accurate.
