I like these because of the way they collapse, but I have a snap-lock button that has broken.
I have had no luck with replies from Seco - does anyone know of a place to get parts for this rod? Pretty sure the Seco # is 5128-20.
thanks.

Joe

I have the alum. version of this pole and mine broke the spring in between the two buttons. I pulled it out and went to the hardware store and bought a coil sping the same dia. (think it was 1/4 or 5/16 inch) then cut to length. Still working fine 2 years later.

Dont know if this is what is messed up with your buttons but $1.50 a lot cheaper than even the shipping.;-)

Seco's website is surveying.com. If you look under the products tab and find the item in question there are often links to tech documents or shop drawings showing an exploded view of the item.

I was hoping to keep this as much a secret as possible. If the Trimble execs realize that its SECO subsidiary actually assists its customers in maintaining their products, they'll take down the parts diagram pages and offer them on a subscription-only basis.
