Well, the battery was OK when It went on wrong state on both, Base and rover. I was able to work for seven hours with then. Iå«ve tried after full charge and it repeated the same cycle of lights, first red/yellow 2", off, red/yellow 5", off, only red 25", off, and begins again. The bluetooth light flash blue and stay red. The on/off key don't work ( I've to take off the batteries for shut it down).
Iå«m looking for getting a Com wire to try updating the firmware but I'm not optimist at all.

I updated a customer's B/R today and it went smoothly. The ISX is past EOL and updates and parts will not be available in the future but as always we like to go an extra step or two to make sure the customer has the latest updates available.

Hello Guys,

Anyone of you got a copy of Sokkia's Receiver Powerup Utility?Need to rest a parameter on the unit and to check on the firmware as well. I downloaded a copy from Sokkia's website but the zip file is password protected.
Local guy I bought it from is no longer around so I have no one to request it from.
Why would Sokkia password protect a utility software?
Thanks.

Francis, check if you have Sokkia 'Planning' software, that has the Powerup utility and other useful stuff included. It's in a pull down menu under 'Receiver' iand is called 'configurations'. If not, it's still out there for download. Think I got my last version from a software download site rather than Sokkia, no password or key required. The current version is v4.21.

Artie
Followed what you suggested, it did the trick. I just needed to set the recording interval to 2 sec instead of default 10 sec.
I left the battery for the DC at the office so I could not change the rec interval while in the field.

We have the sokkia grx1 rtk with the carlson surv program. There is a screen where you can see the latency between the base and rover. Thats usually a dead give away that the base is dead.

Typically we are getting about 3 hours per battery at the moment. Our setup is about 3 years old.

Also... Question for anyone who would possibly know... When we first got the unit 3 years ago it seems like the RTK would take no time at all hooking up. Yesterday, we were using the grx1 to set posts on line for a client. It took an hour and a half to set ONE post. Its ridiculous nowadays. Base is in a wide open pasture at a higher elevation than the rover. The rover is in the woods with a decent canopy but nothing that we haven't seen before. We have raised and lowered our 15' prism pole and still it seems like nothing has worked. Its hot and humid and standing around in the same place is getting old.

Any help would be appreciated.

^ try to check your antenna connection if yours is the detachable type. my gsr2700 sometimes would refuse to get a fixed signal. unscrewd the antenna & tightened it back and had a fix in less than 1 minute from the same setup that refused previously.
