I can't believe how fast the new Topcon QS tracks and how well it maintains lock in traffic and around reflective objects. If you are a regular Robot user like I am, you will really appreciate this video!

When I started surveying, I kept hearing / reading about how great of a tracker the Topcon APL-1A was. Then the other series came along and I don't recall hearing such constant praise about their tracking abilities. Maybe the Topcon engineers went back to what worked best and built from there.

I think I know why there's no Trimble S6 in this show, would have been nice, 3 on a row!

Tracking test is impressive!

It would also be nice to see a comparison with a Leica TS30. Our TM30, which is a basically a TS30 with a killer ATR and no lock, turns incredibly fast with is piezo drives. I do not understand why Leica did not include them in the new Viva instruments.
