Hi everyone,

I'm looking for input about a battery setup i've worked out for my topcon robot. I bought a 12 volt sealed battery from Batteries Plus and a converter from Hayes to run my gun. I put them both inside a sealed plastic dry box i got at a sportsman's supply and ran wires for the gun and charger through the lid of the box, keeping everything sealed. Do you think i will have issues with the charger or the battery being inside the box without a vent? My thinking is that since it's a sealed battery it won't be a problem, but I'm not sure.

Any input is appreciated.

Chris B.

should be fine. our battery doesn't generate any heat during use, maybe a little during charging but i would say you'll be fine.

Thanks, Snoop. That's what I thought, but it's nice to hear from someone who's dealt with it before.
