Hello Folks,

How user-friendly is the roadrunner application on the Viva system? Looking at feedbacks about data prep, layout/pickup options, field checks, reporting, etc.

The program was fairly complex on previous systems.

Thanks,

Georges

The Leica Roadrunner software has always been easy to use. The application has many options to allow the program to conform to a user's needs. I think the application got a bad rep due to salesmen not understanding the software and also having no experience in construction.

You can do station and offset very easily up to having a full 3D model defined by the elements of the road design. The starting point to look at would be your model in you design software. Leica provides many tools (for free) to get the design from CAD into the collector very easily.

Maybe we can swap some emails.

Mark
