Now, Willi

That's not a nice thing to say about us folks out at the end of the road!

I'll make an exception for you JD! You know darn well the people I'm talking about. The Louis Hastings of Mccarthy, Roger Culps of Manley Hot Springs, the Timothy Treadwell flavored fruit cakes. Granted Timothy only got himself and his girlfriend eaten, but just the same.

I've heard the rounds whizzing by from morons target shooting at saguaros, and that is scary, but equally bad was when we were surveying a water park and quail hunters were nearby. The pellets were falling all around us. I reminded everyone not to look up.

Yeah, shame old Timmy got his gal friend munched. Pretty spooky tape they had of the incident. I do know what you're talking about, met more than a few of them. When they busted the Uni-bomber a few years back, the press was going on about how he lived in a 1 room cabin with no windows..... we were all sitting around going...yeah, so? Had a neighbor, I would whistle real loud when I hiked down to his cabin, let his dogs know I was coming, he would come out, shotgun in hand .... avoided getting shot that way!
