@350rocketmike I would say the average surveyor has always pushed the weight limit on a half ton. ?ÿWe ran them for years way over loaded. ?ÿThe last company ran vans and was going to those chevy Colorado trucks. I added up the weight no box just 3 tripods rebar stakes and all other supplies we kept most of the time. Yep even most half tons would be over loaded for cargo weight. But we never left without a few bundles of rebar and 3 ft lathe and such. I do like i can put 2 tons in the bed of my truck and you would never know it was in there. I have over 4000 pounds payload. ?ÿ1 tons are nice for that.
