@aliquot I do not deal with the PLS system, I work in a Colonial state, different rules but same concept when it comes to original corners.?ÿ Unless the original was described with the size of the rebar set, the whole conversation goes back into the same loop when it's sans cap.
If I went to court in NJ saying that I re-established original corner by proportionate measure without proving an excess or decrease in distances, based on the original intention, as monumented, I would be laughed out of court.
What was set and when it was set are the controlling factors of the preponderance of evidence factors.?ÿ Rebars didn't come into play in my state of practice until the mid to late 80's.?ÿ Different items were set in different eras and require knowledge of what the common markers were in the era from which they were called out.
