RE: Laser Level Question

Most lazer levels are for close work, within their range of limitations for sure.

I've seen them at small sites for sewer and drainage for homes and inside buildings where the walls are up and they ranged from brands like DeWalt that have a very limited range.

The lazer level comes out after control has been established at a site and is not for carrying the control forward to another site.

I'd compare them to pipe lazers, it all depends how far you expect to use before exceeding its range and buy something that can be serviced and not shipped back to the manufacture overseas.
