As far as cameras go, I've only used it to document monuments. With an attached pic. So, I've never used it for more than that. I carry a cannon sx 230 most of the time. This is how I take pics with the LS in the shot, or sunsets, or neat field pics. I would not think of the onboard LS camera as good for hi res nature scenes.
