HELP!!!!
I just bought a Ranger 3 with Surveypro 5.6 My Ranger 300x has Surveypro 4.7, which I've been using for the last 10 years. Most of the work I do is on a local coordinate system (ie 5000,5000). When I try to load my jobs on the new ranger, It can't find the local projection. I get loading errors, ann then it only brings in the points that were collected with my robot. None of the shots that were collected with GPS have any values! Any ideas how to convert my old jobs to the new ????

Are you saying you have done the job on a assumed coordinate system and then localized you GPS to this coordinate system? If so, it doesn't sound like your new data collector is finding this localization. I can't tell you why though. The new data collector uses a XXXXX.survey file format where you old one probably uses a XXXXX.job format, but the new collector should convert it to a .survey format, at least mine does.

That would be great if I didn't need to use GPS! Without the projection, I would have to re localize which defeats the purpose!

Problem Solved!

had to copy the old Geoid Files from the geodata folder from old ranger to new ranger! It needs those files in order to generate the local projections for the jobs created on 4.7!
Long day figuring that out!
