This particular fellow was a 52 year old LSIT. With overtime pay he was probably getting bigger checks than I was.
I realize this is an old thread but does anyone know if the Trimble screens are compatible with the Ranger screens? I have an old Ranger we use for our conventional instrument and the screen broke. I also have a few Trimble TSC2 laying around and was wondering if I can simply pull one of those screens and swap them in the ranger.
Again, this is for the old yellow carcass. It is literally the same housing just that one says Ranger on it, while the other says TSC2.
My Trimble vendor doesn’t recommend considering spectra precision products to buy because of high repair rates. Get what you pay for. Trimble branded products are highly, highly reliable in my experience.
