You know you are on borrowed time to complete your project when the larch begin to turn and the plowboys put up the snow poles.
This is at MP 6 on I90 - Just east of Lookout pass. Winter's coming, boys.....

I have been hearing the same thing. It wasn't too bad in West Tennessee this year, but I feel for our friends up north.

I drove that stretch of road quite often when I was in college at FVCC in Kalispell. I visited friends in the Coeur d'Alene/Post Falls/Rathdrum, ID area over holidays and some weekends. I sure do miss those mountains.

That is a pretty drive - been over it many times while attending college in Moscow.
It was a tradition to put the Steve Earle - Exit 0 cassette in the player whenever traversing Look-out pass, along with popping open a few Coors to "steady the nerves" on wintery days.
