we were waiting on the guys laying astroturf to get out of our way- stations were hard to come by up there, they were laying that last strip of turf around the roof drain (and bolt) we needed to occupy.
oh, and all that green stuff is on about an 8% slope. the putting green is down at the bottom where it flattens out.
Near MoPac, right? Can you see Zilker from there?
From Kent's posts I thought Texas was all rock mounds and barbed wire. Please tell me that strip of astro turf is 1 vara wide!

He's actually great help. 19 and green, and I can give him a longer leash every day. Just started him on cad this week, gonna pay for his surveying classes at the cc starting January. And he LIKES the work- always full of questions.
It's right at Lamar and town lake and yeah- still an ok view of zilker (the tree tops, anyways).
Don't think it's open to the public, but then again I don't think hardly any of the parking garages downtown are- never stopped me from exploring them.
