I don't have a faintest notion about how this relates to Surveying and Geomatics. But with some minor embellishments, this would make a good pitch for a reality television program.

My almost eighty year old retire preacher brother and I still can't agree on whether we forgive debtors or trespassers. Now I can forgive debts, but I'm a staunch supporter of telling people to "stay off my lawn!" 😉
I'm Episcopalian and was raised on aw-men and forgive our trespasses because we are guilty of manifold sins and wickedness. The church lawyers wrote the Book of Common Prayer, trespassing in common law referred to a lot more than real property.
We had a seminarian who says ay-men, and it's jarring to me. We aren't no damned baptists or Catholics.
Where 2 or 3 Episcopalians are gathered together there will be a fifth also.
It depends on whether your law officers are the puh-lease or the poe-lease.
Had lunch at Pizza Hut while surveying. Not sure that really qualifies. But, the original post had strong surveying tendencies.
Church and cemeteries and school properties can be hard to research around here because they will be listed under the names of the head of the trustees at the time of transfer.
There is a list of all the cemeteries in the county with a deed referenced that is available when they can remember where they put it after last used...........

I heard a similar saying about Baptists: When two or three are gathered in his name a chicken must die.

Besides, I'd probably have to counsel with the church elders to see if their doctrines allow the use of ground penetrating radar on their corners...;)
We've done a number of surveys for some Amish folks around here. There are about 10 families that have moved in within about 5 miles of my house in the past 2 years. I was using the robot and GPS on a survey for one Amish gentleman, and he was very curious about them. Most of them in this area allow phones, as long as they're on the telephone pole out in the yard. Many are also okay with having electricity in their houses and barns (for lighting and charging batteries for their tools) as long as they generate it via solar, wind, etc. So they might not take issue with your GPR 😉
