This really isn't survey related, however it is records related. The Dona Ana County Clerks Office (New Mexico) recently found a cache of unarchived records. One was the coroner's report made after the murder of Pat Garrett. Pat Garrett ended William Bonney's run after the Lincoln County War.
Thought history buffs would like this. Will be interesting to see what other records there are that would be valuable to land surveyors.
