OPUS - Noisy Data error

I ran a 3 hour Fast-Static GPS session with a Trimble 4000SSe receiver and a Compact L1/L2 w/gp antenna. I converted the dat file to rinex with Dat2Rin and submitted to OPUS static. I received the following error: "OPUS could not process the data file that was submitted. The data was either very noisy or it was collected in kinematic mode".

Any suggestions?

Post the dat and rinex file to a web server and post a link to them. Someone will review them for weirdness.

Shoot me the RINEX file (if you want to), and I'll take a look at it. I have seen this error before, and SOMETIMES it can be corrected.

I have seen this error also. Open the RINEX file in a text editor and look at the time date stamp of the observation epochs.. I'll bet that the first few epochs have anomalous date / time stamps. Delete these, save the file and resubmit to OPUS.

I appreciate your time and effort.

A good sky for me in this area is 8-9 birds, but on average if I can see 6 of those after obstructions I'm doing good. Sky looks good this evening so to the field I go.:-(

And the secret NGS doesn't want anyone to know, OPUS will process down to a 10 degree elevation angle...

If you also take a look at the epochs, the 1's and 5's indicate loss of lock. We use a batch file to delete these as well. Really cleans up a file.
