Excellent!

I used to work for Close and Nuff Surveying. Those guys rock.

That was a good one Roadie. All true! I guess that IDOT gets to wear shorts. Likely the only agency in the country. Around here they're a Mch-Nov thing for most of the private folks, including me. None of the big firms or gobment crews though. (thanks to the lawyers)

I liked the one part where the guy says "...remember to keep your head screwed on straight...". My dad used to say that to me when I was a teenager and would go hang out the the buddies. Still holds true

Be safe all

As I watched that I kept expecting Roy Clark and Buck Owens to pop in with Pickin and Grinnin at any moment 😀

...or for it to break into a "Dogde Ram Tough" commercial. Could almost be the same guy, before his voice changed. I'm sure he don't wear no stinking shorts....:-P

I never could work in shorts. There are just too many sticker bushes to wade through and gravelly surfaces to kneel down on for me.

I wear shorts often, but prefer the really lightweight pants from ex officio. If I know I'm going in a rough patch of poison ivy, I'll be sure to wear pants. Can't wear jeans of any kind most of the year, just waaaay to heavy.

Yup Jim, lots of nasty things with needles here to. Usually not too thick, but you never know. A few here and there find me, but not usually.

I keep a similar brand of Monica Lewinsky Pads handy in my truck for when I need them, which is often. Or just kneel on a lath or shovel handle if the truck is too far.

Jeans are not an option, but may look into those real light weight pants. But I'm cheap and they are not.

I enjoyed it right until I realized I worked for Close and Nuff surveying last year. Had to be the best safety video I ever saw though, thanks for sharing!
