I posted this with wrong Category, so post again in right one.

Curious if any one uses this instrument.I have a Nikon 821 that is hopefully soon to come back from fixing a misaligned signal. But in my downtime I have been looking at (used) alternatives. Two immediately available are 362's. One NPL, the other NPR.NPR I gather has a visible laser dot, the NPL no dot.Not sure how useful the dot is. I gather what you focus on in the Nikon's is what you read to in reflectorless mode. Other instruments (so I'm told) don't work like that. Well that vintage instruments at least.Any user comments appreciated thanks.
